Your Role as Lead Engineer
Are you a skilled plastic pipefitter with a background in yacht or shipbuilding? Do you take pride in precision craftsmanship and want to contribute to world-class maritime projects? Then we want to hear from you!
We're offering a opportunity in the luxury yacht construction sector — a chance to work on some of the most advanced vessels in the world.
Your responsibilities include
Read and interpret general arrangement drawings and isometrics
Independently fabricate and install plastic pipe sections
Prepare and tack weld pipe brackets
Ensure high-quality assembly and precise measurements
Perform interim and final dimensional checks
Cap and seal piping as needed
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Operate machinery and tools safely and accurately
Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards
Report equipment malfunctions to your supervisor
Approve assembled pipe sections for welders and foremen
Monitor quality standards for all piping and components
Your Profile
At least 5 years of experience as a (soft/plastic) pipefitter in yacht or shipbuilding
Full ability to work independently
Skilled in reading and working from technical drawings
Experience in TIG tack welding
Materials: ABS, Flowfit, Mapress
Assembly techniques and connection standards relevant to marine piping systems
Valid VCA certificate (or willing to obtain)
Proficient in English or Dutch
EU Passport (mandatory – we do not sponsor visas)
